I do think the combination of losing Coen and having a shitty offensive line was a big difference. Levis didn't run the ball nearly as much as he did last year and this year he should have been running for his life instead of getting sacked more than any other SEC QB.

He can't run. That was part of the problem, but play calling is the bigger problem. OC they hire doesn't matter. Stoops will put them on a leash too.

For what it is worth, I’m hearing definitively that Liam Coen will be announced OC in the coming weeks. NFL schedule makes it challenging but the deal is all but done. Also hearing a couple QBs he may bring with him but don’t want to mention names until I can confirm. Good news for the cats!

I would like to see the Football team succeed, but it may not happen. Tough conference and the Head Coach plays "Not to Lose" instead of "Try to Win."
It ain't all on Him and he Has brought the program out of the basement.

He out-talented everybody everywhere he’s been but the SEC and particularly blue blood status. It ain’t the same thing as the A-10 or CUSA.
His x and o's are the same offense that the pro's run, that is how he recruits. The kids see that and think this is what will get them to the NBA. Unless you have super talent.it won't work in college because they can pack it in the lane, can't do that in the NBA. A good defensive coach can stop cal's dribble drive.
