His x and o's are the same offense that the pro's run, that is how he recruits. The kids see that and think this is what will get them to the NBA. Unless you have super talent.it won't work in college because they can pack it in the lane, can't do that in the NBA. A good defensive coach can stop cal's dribble drive.

More of a weave/hand off, GO! They don't have spacing, that's a hallmark of the Dribble Drive. Most of the time, there are two "post" players in, or near, the lane. The dribble drive is based on 4 spread perimeter players, to open up the floor. You rarely see that from UK. IMHO, Cal's best half court offense would be none. Treat every possession like a fast break. As soon as ball control is obtained, all 5 players sprint to the goal, with spacing. Shooters, unless involved in the initial transition break(2 on 1, or 3 on 2), spot up. The defense HAS to go to the middle to stop the ball, and most of the time, that would be multiple players, ON INSTINCT. If a paint opportunity happens, take it, and the trailers are in great position for a put back. If not, a quick pass or two would result in an open shot for somebody, because the defense is still on its heels, and trying to find their man. That would result in more open shots, and more possessions. Again, just MHO, but it would be a hell of a lot better than the BS half court shit we see from them every year.

For what it is worth, I’m hearing definitively that Liam Coen will be announced OC in the coming weeks. NFL schedule makes it challenging but the deal is all but done. Also hearing a couple QBs he may bring with him but don’t want to mention names until I can confirm. Good news for the cats!

Well he's a senior and I didn't expect him to be back. I guess he could have used his COVID year but he's been considered gone since spring ball.

Looks like Utah is going to eliminate USC from the playoffs.
I hate OSU with a passion. I know they will move OSU up but I'd hate to see two Big ten(under achieving) teams in the playoffs. Guess I'm a bulldog and hornfrog fan for the next month.

I wish there was more SEC v B10 cross over late in the season. I’d love to see GA play up in WI this time of year. Hell even northwestern.

Do you follow sports? The Big Ten usually gets hammered by the SEC. You need to look at the games for the last....15 years.

Given the results they should move the Big ten to a D2 status.

They probably couldn’t win it this year but I think Bama has as good of an argument as OSU, even having two losses. They lost 2 games by 4 points on game ending plays. Would’ve beat TN if they make their FG and LSU had to get a 2 point conversion. Both road losses if I’m not mistaken OSU got their brains beat out at home.

Yep but I do think USC will be back in the mix in the next few years. He’s gonna get the players and transfers.
