Well I think I got my wish apparently in the playoff expansion the first round will be a home game for the higher seed. So at some point we are going to see the SEC play in a real snow game during the first round of the playoff. Pretty cool

How does Alabama have an argument? Their best win is against a not good ol miss or possibly a not good South Carolina. Tennessee has more claim than bama….you know because they beat them in a head to head match up. A lack luster Ohio state will take the fourth spot unfortunately. Sorry bama but there are no “moral victories” in football. This playoff system is diluting college football.
Oh they are not gonna get in. The committee, no matter what people say, don’t want them there, not like they do OSU, and they have two losses. Just saying if there were ever a time to even think a two loss team has an argument, it would be now. TN and LSU both crapped the bed after Bama. They cared more about that win than they did the rest of the season. Those losses to SC and AM were horrible. Neither team even competed. Even in a “down” year I think everyone believes Bama would find a way to compete. I’m with you though, even though last play losses on the road, they aren’t getting in. They probably won’t win whatever bowl game either because you know Young, Anderson, and probably a whole host of players will sit. That drives me crazy nowadays too.
Any idea what ranking they’ll use to determine higher seed? There’s AP, coaches? Will it be what they committee decides the last week?
I dont know, I just saw an article that said there would be a home playoff game. Lets use this year for conversations sake, if Michigan wins today they would probably get a home game against Bama with the way the rankings are. It could and will happen at SOME point.
If TCU lets this game get away from them, Bama might be in.
TCU has kind of been the come back kids this year. They may storm back and win big in the second half. A loss? Who knows?

If KSU wasn’t bomb it down the field crazy and just OK with first downs they could probably pull it off. Now they’ve given TCU a shot.
