You can't get there from here.
If I was a good QB, I'd be looking for a team that used the QB as something other than a tool to hand off to running backs.
Stoops may have too much say in the play calling. Kentucky always seems to conservative compared to other SEC teams. Maybe Coen was more open and allowed Levis to run more. Don't know.
I do know that you can't sit in the pocket and let your receivers get 30 yards down field if you have defensive ends grabbing at you 2 seconds after the snap.
We need an offensive line and a strong arm/decision maker. We seem to have the receivers necessary.

Levis' injury shut down the QB running. Stoops has always shut down the passing volume. Every coordinator they've had, had a reputation as an aggressive passer philosophy. Not at UK. Stoops throttles that shit. They could have Tom Brady, and they'd still run it 75% of the time.

Levis' injury killed his mobility. He never adapted the "get rid of it" mentality.

I don't like all of this transferring at the drop of a hat. It's getting ridiculous.

I don't like it either....but it's been great for UK football.
Why? Whats wrong with it?

Why should coaches hold the keys to a players career?

Like the NFL and NBA I don't like having my favorite player or my least favorite player come and go from the team I like....or go to a team I hate.

And why after 100 years is it all of the sudden unfair. If you are 18 and decide to join the army do they let you put in a transfer to the coast guard if you don't like it?

One transfer is enough, IMO.

@bgkyarcher why?

@120+ Its not the NFL. Its not all of a sudden unfair, it always was and this isnt the military. If I had a kid on my team who wanted to transfer i encouraged it. Nothing worse for a team than an unhappy player who doesnt want to be there poisoning the other minds on the squad. If they think the grass is greener, go mow it.

Because collegiate athletics should not be about $$, and that’s what most of these transfers are.
