My buddy said the 8 year old that went out with him was shooting this bow. Didn't know what the poundage was set at but it goes down real low. He said about halfway through their trip they cut the prongs back about the length of em. With the prongs cut back, the kid didn't lose any fish. Said the kid wasn't a big kid but he wasn't frail either.
