KTBA January Shootout!

Just a quick shout out to the members of the Mercer County Fish and Game Farm! They hosted an excellent traditional archery shoot yesterday and it was an awesome time! Got to see several guys that we hadn't seen since the last shoot, August '22. I'm sure there were several club members there but we spoke with Jimmy Sullivan before leaving, and just wanted to thank the club for all the hard work that goes into hosting an event like that. I think there was just over 30 shooters which I thought was impressive for cold breezy January day! I strongly encourage anyone with traditional shooting interests to check it out and come out and join us.

Thanks Mercer County Club for all you do for us! It is greatly appreciated! Already looking forward to the February 11 shoot!

Sounds like I miss a good one, but then they are always good, hate I couldn’t make it. Now how about some scores?..

Well, Tarzan came so you know how that went...........he brought home the big money! : )

We shot two rounds like usual. My first round was my best. I scored a 242 of which I was very happy with considering my lack of practice for the past month or more. See?......you wouldn't have finished last, Carp!!

I'll let Sandman, Tarzan and Jordan give their scores if they want to. I'm just happy they still let me shoot with their group! Lol!

Yes pictures! Without pictures it didn’t happen is what I’ve always heard. You probably would have whooped me in that score Jman, but I got delivered from the embarrassment.

Couldn’t ask for a better target to finish off the round! Four arrows sent down range, four X’s.

I wish I could say that my arrow was the one closest to center but............it ain't.
