Well I just heard from my partner in crime and we plan to be there. Plus got two newbie’s from my church coming also, they think that they are going to learn something, funny! Lol

Nice day in spite of forecast. Had a good shoot even though the J-Boys avoided us. Somehow there was a starting time misinterpreting. Some saw 9 and others 8. But a good day overall. Mark wore us out the first round but didn’t keep score! All that matters in the end was that I scored one point above the Sandman!! Brought a couple new guys along, one shot, the other observed. Next month it starts at 8:00.

Your prophecy was true! I didn't melt!

I'll tell you one thing, don't plan your fun trips around a forecast! Sandman and I almost cancelled going to Twin Oaks last weekend because of the forecast. It turned out to be GREAT weather! Nothing but rain forecasted for yesterday and again...........turned out great!

A good time had by all and a big "Thank You" to the Mercer County Club again for a program well done!

Carp, sorry about the time mix up! I didn't even look at the schedule I was so certain that it started at 0800. Hopefully we'll get synchronized in June!

After shooting my fancy new Hedge bow I heard my shoulder crying out for something lighter. Fun for a while, great for hunting, but not lots of arrows, at least with my shoulder!
So I pulled some ole Carp bows off the wall and began playing around. Then I had a thought; we need to do a CarpBow shoot! Everyone in our group shoots a CarpBow. The scores would surely rise then! Lol But beware; CarpBows are not for sale! View attachment 112244

I like the style of your bows, reflex/deflex longbows are the best for hunting, in my opinion.
