Docknboatlift

This is the same opportunity that was advertised 18 mos ago, updated. We had several interested parties at that time, one of which became a current member. I am not at all surprised that we are looking again, as discussed below. life goes on.
A lease partnership, with 2 existing partners, for 320 acres all usable in western Grayson County, Kentucky, beginning in July, 2023. A total of 3 partners. I have hunted this lease for 16 years. Property is entirely usable for hunting, and is surrounded by property well known for trophy deer, and turkey, and most any other game you would expect.
We are looking to invite an experienced, financially stable, responsible hunter to join our partnership. The current partner who is leaving has other obligations, including professional opportunities and he has purchased hunting property which is much closer to his home. I have hunted with him the last 16 years, and will miss his participation and friendly discussions in the field and around the campfire. Having said that, he hadn't been actively using the lease for a few years, and his decision to leave was neither a surprise nor a result of personal disagreements.
We are looking for a partner who lives within a couple hours of Caneyville, KY. We had boatloads of folks from FL, GA, AL, OH, and one from AR who were excited about the opportunity. Unfortunately, this is a team game including labor doing upkeep, clearing shooting lanes, etc. that a distant partner would not be contributing to.
Obviously there are lots of details to discuss, price being towards the top of the list. We have expectations beyond money, that include time and effort made to contribute to our combined experience. You should plan on putting out at least 2 stands, a ground blind, a feeder and having an atv to reach a good deal of the property. We presently have out 14 stands, 3 ground blinds, three good size food plots and 5 feeders. There are large areas that have not been properly hunted, and we would expect your help establishing those opportunities.
As for cost of the lease, it is on the affordable side of what one would expect to pay for a high quality lease. Politely, it's more than a couple hundred dollars and a July afternoon baling hay. I wish that weren't the case, but it is.
We will discuss cost when we find someone who understands and appreciates what is being offered. We will do an on site tour. Plan on needing an ATV.
