I started out with spypoint, first one was great so I bought another, it was terrible and spypoints customer service was even worse! Finally gave up trying to deal with those morons took it back to cabelas. Then I went to tactacam and it has been great. Battery life is better, picture quality is better. I did have one small issue that was resolved quickly thanks to their great customer service. All of mine will be tactacam from now on.

Yep, Tactacam. They now come with both AT&T and Verizon SIM cards so you can use whichever carrier is best in you area. You likely already know this, but you don’t have to use the same carrier as your cell phone provider which allows you to use the carrier that has the best signal at the camera location.

I loved my spypoint until it quit working. Customer service is awful. Switched to tactacam reveal this year and really happy with it so far.

I fought spypoints for a couple years. Done with that BS. My Reveals have been flawless and like RLWEBB said, the new Pro X comes with both sim cards which has come in handy in some low spots

Where have you guys purchased lithium batteries for the Tactacam?

Solar panels for them are great for field edges where they get sun, once leaves drop in the woods they work great in the woods too. Just have to get them in some sun..... I use regular batteries for a backup to to solar panels and have had great luck with it.

Sams. $35 for 18 pack.

I just use the Rayovac High Energy. I only run mine Sept-Jan. Plenty of battery for that amount of time.

I've only used Covert. Pleased, but if service is an issue, don't get ATT. I know several with Tactacam's, and they all love them. I'm probably going to grab a couple and get the Verizon plan.

I ran spypoint for couple yrs and this had 4 mess up. One was just 3 weeks old. I went to Tactacam and love them spypoint customer service sucks

I run tactacams and just purchase the rechargeable lithium pack they sale. Only 1 I had a problem with was the one a bear got ahold of.
