Update!!!!
Good Ol Mexico was good but glad to be back in the bluegrass. Trip was very safe and the outfitter had every detail well thought out. Food and accommodations was very very very good. Hunting was great birds were plentiful. 9 guys in camp everyone killed by day 3. I got to hear a tom “sing” twice, which was neat and I had 50-60 birds come in. Going to make a beautiful mount! Fun and all but hard to beat a loud mouth gobbling eastern. Missed our first flight back due to other turkey hunters being held up with their paperwork, which held us up. But made it back and already dropped off at the taxidermist View attachment 111230

They got plenty Corona there. It’s the small ones but it’ll drink. Lol

its a different world for sure! good trip man, I appreciate you answering some questions for me several years ago. Guide was Ramon. I was in #3, ac worked good. yes plenty coronas, said they went thru about 300 a week haha meals were great, i think i gained 10 pounds. Wouldnt mind to take the wife and kids back some day. hopefully my kids will still be into hunting

its their type of gobble, but they call it singing for whatever reason. They were just starting to get going. said april was best month for singing/strutting.
about half the guides were using electronic calls. our guides were not.
