Pretty neat sight. As strange as it is. With the way weather patterns are changing. It’s not really that surprising. We don’t really have winters anymore. The last few summers haven’t seemed as hot and the winters not near as cold. I’m mid 40’s and can tell a big difference from when I was kid. I’m sure the guys and gals older than me can tell an even bigger difference. This will ultimately lead to animals moving in and possibly some moving out.

Lotsa natural migrations going on. Coyotes,Armadillos, pelicans, seen golden eagles at green river lake a couple years ago, and hear they are commonly sited at Bernheim forrest. Some things just happened with no human input. We aint as dominate as we thought we were

Lots of them on Barkley, a few years ago a neighbor called and said a pelican was injured in our bay (had a jug with fishing line wrapped around its wing) and asked if I could take my boat and help it. Got in the boat and chased it around till it tired out. With a big dip net I put it in the boat,BIG mistake. Thought it was going to take my head off. Wrapped it up and held its bill together. Got to the dock and yelled for my neighbor to help. Finally got the jug removed and it flew away. They are meaner than Hell.
