A buddy and myself have applied for the Guide Permits in KY. Long story short we have been thinking about it for awhile and finally decided to pull the trigger on it. I had a good friend who started out as a ranger in a state park who started became a very successful fishing guide. He got to do what he loved and he made good money.

We are in South Central Kentucky area covering about 5 counties. I posted my number and we are currently working on price schedule and Facebook page. I will post as soon as we get in done. I do know we are giving away a 3 day hunt this spring so I will post the info on it as soon as we finalize it.

Good Luck with your operation. I guided turkey for 35 yrs. Like said do not let anyone slack on safety. I had a few close calls (One a guy forgot to put his safety back on after trying to call a bird in, and he had it over his shoulder and it went off as we walked up a ridge when a branch caught the trigger. Another was a guy snuck into our calling location and shot into the vicinity of the calling. Thankfully he was off by several feet, but he got a full load of my attitude afterwards, he was trespassing and pissed me off! Be safe!
