We sold our steers at Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington on Tuesday.
725 Lbs. $1.75 per pound. This was a small group all Black, Weaned 65 days, 2 rounds of modified live, 2 black leg shots, wormed with white wormer and pour on, no implants. We were feeding them 4 pounds of grain a day.

My brother took the check an I did not even see it. It was close to $50.00 in feed cost and vaccinations. I don't know how much they took out for commission. They gained weight while they were weaned so that more than offset the cost of feed an vaccinations.
