I like the euro mounts too and they do save money but I don't think they hold a light to the hide mounts. Well, a good hide mount lol.

I do European Mounts now. After a while, you run out of room with big shoulder mounts.

That's for sure, in that boat right now, but if he's big enough I'll go to the ole fishing method and cull some of the smaller ones and make room.

Having the same issue right now with a local taxidermist that has always been great. Took my gf’s daughter’s first deer to him last year. He called while I was on vacation and said he needed full payment because too many people were not paying. So I paid it. Said it would be a few more weeks. Called around a month later and he said he had Covid and had just gotten back to work so it would be two more weeks. A month later and still nothing. Something smells fishy to me.

I'm guessing he made into a stuffer. Hauled it all over decoying neck bands, quill lake, cacklers with radio collars, and all kinds of rare geese. But felt a tad bit of remorse for taking a little boys goose and tobacco cutting money. But it was just so damn lucky couldn't help it.
