Out of 12 balanced, .001 matched, checked for straightness… etc custom bolts. I’ll only get 5 that shoot together satisfactorily to me.

Wow, slightly surprising not doubting at all though. I did miss a buck this year though and blamed it on a couple things but never the arrow. Going to need to do some serious testing this off-season.

Same as load development for a rifle, the way I look at it.
It just depends how tight you're wanting it to shoot as to how serious you get with it.

Glad somebody else has been through it. Hours and hours… I use South Shore Archery for bolts. They are as good as you can get but for serious accuracy you still have to test.

When I get a full quiver of bolts that are dead on it is so sweet. Can’t shoot at same bullseye at 70 yards.

Then break two hunting and I just start over again.

But damn, 10" groups at 30 yards with bolts at .001 and $85 a half dozen? That's just stupid.

I've never shot any factory load out of any of my rifles that wouldn't do "suitable" at 100 yards. 8-10" groups at 30 yards with a crossbow is stupid for .001 bolts at $15+ each.

I have some Black Eagle Executioners left that still shoot great but have switched to the Spynal Tapps.

I always got the pink fletches so I could find them but last batch I got had luminocks with them, I can add after I test the latest batch. Been sitting on my cupboard for a month.

About the same here. I've ordered customs from SSA and Borkholder and will usually get 3/6 that will shoot same hole, and usually a fourth that will be close enough to grab the last spot in quiver, but I'll almost always have a couple I've gotta start jacking around with to try and get them halfway close to the others, sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. I shoot Executioners or Zombie Slayers depending on the bow.
