best I remember Velma smith in Calhoun wanted $500 to mount a squirrel. Im pretty sure I heard her right. I took my Osceola and merriams to her and she had a squirrel mounted in her shop. I asked what she charged to mount squirrel and that’s what she told me. Lol. Too high for that

Carter's on Dixie Hwy in Valley Station, Jefferson County , is the best taxidermist that I have found so far . But I'm sure the prices are ridiculous anymore . If your willing to pay to have it mounted than I wouldn't be too concerned about the drive , instead I would be more interested in the price and quality of the work.
