Do you taxidermist tan your own or send them off? I hear some guys take shortcuts on this and they aren’t really tanned. How does this affect the longevity and quality of a mount?
I am going to be watching this one.
I skinned my deer out completely to try and mount it myself.
I had my hide laid up high in my barn with a concrete block laid on it and the neighbor's dog has packed it off.
