The CCP gathers all and any data about users it can through a middle man company. Every media company associated with China has CCP officials monitoring everything, and everyone, in the background. It has been proven through leaks that they are hoarding personal data on every user it can around the World. So, when you sign up for it, you invite the Communist Party of China into you life. Of course they want it to be fun and have attractive content, that's how they get users to spy on. If it wasn't fun, nobody would use it.

I had TikTok for a few days and realized it’s was garbage. At least to me it was. As far as being spied on, it’s happening to us all. Google and Apple are probably some of the worst. I don’t doubt the government isn’t using all this to track your ever move as well. The camera on your phones can be accessed as well.
