Waylon Jennings picked up a newspaper or magazine and it had an advertisement for a book or maybe a TV show/movie, can’t remember, on her marriage to Ike Turner called “A Good Hearted Woman Loving A Two Timing Man”, he changed the title and made it into a song along with Willie and the rest is history.
