We got gifted with our seed and bracket. If this team plays to what we have seen in some games, we will be sitting in the elite 8. In reality, we will suck and go out 1st game.

Well I’ve been saying for a while now that’s the direction of college basketball. Sure you got your blue bloods but kids nowadays wanna go where they’ll play so it’s pretty balanced and the “upsets” just aren’t “upsets” at the level they once were. The Loyola-Chicago’s, VCUs, etc…are actually pretty good.

I’m not the UK diehard you folks are but didn’t they finish 3rd in SEC regular season? And SEC and Big 12 were arguably the two strongest conferences. 6 seems fair, considering. Yes they underachieved. I’m excited about the prospects of seeing some good Sweet 16 games at Yum on 3/24. My first time of seeing a men’s tournament game.

Providence is a scary draw.

They don’t have much of an inside presence so I look for Oscar to go off. Bryce Hopkins worries me because he’s going to play with a big chip on his shoulder. If the Cats aren’t totally devastated by injuries I think they take this one.

Well my wife did pick UMBC to beat Virginia.
