I love the snow cover! 24 minutes on the stand this morning and had this female at 120 yards coming to the caller/mojo. No action at all until I played male long howls followed by white tail fawn, followed by dying crow. She came from down wind and I was hunting a crosswind stand. She flipped and bit for almost a minute before I put a second round in her. I waited because she was looking back before I shot her. I thought there might be another one coming behind her.
Little did I know, after the second shot, I looked the opposite direction, up wind, and there was another one at about 350 yards standing and looking. It turned away calmly and left.
Proud I called in two at the same time. Wish I could have got a shot at both. Love this sport!!!!
