Wandering around the Cumberland Falls area with the wife...

Hiked about a mile up the mountain to climb a fire tower in 95 degree heat with high humidity. The Karate Babe doesn't do well with heights. Its even worse if she can see through the steps or floor. As she started up the tower, she hesitated. I said "If you're scared, lets skip it". She replies "Yes I'm scared! Get out of my way!" And up she went.

And, as if *THAT* wasn't enough, she went zip lining. I think she may have a list...

It wasn't a big deal. Twenty minutes of prep time. Same harness as I've worn for fall protection at work and deer stands. The worst part was getting down from the second tower. I really thought the small metal platform they had me standing on was gonna slide down the tower. Nope. Hook another rope to my harness and "..Just slide your butt off..." "Wait. What? Really?"

It was a blast. We were going on a short canoe trip to end the day but a gully washer put the kibosh on that.

Cool. Wonder when they added that deal. I love zip lines and more... glad you guys had fun. Looks like a deer stand I see off in the distance.
