I helped my dad on a few construction sites during summer in college. No idea how he lived as long as he has. Swear I’ve seen him standing on swaying 2X10’s on scaffolds 60 feet off the ground. Never would wear straps or any of the safety stuff. I’d be scared sh*tless watching him.

That is a cell tower 300 yards from my property line on the farm I don't live on. First photo was at 524 yards; sorry I don't have a better camera, taken with a 5 year old Android phone.
I am betting that my boy @Nock would climb that thing with a Sack and bring down a Swarm of Bees.

Got a buddy in OK that started out painting towers, he'd work 6 most then play for 6 most. Made "big bucks". He now has his own sandblasting and painting company in Tulsa. Drank like a fish when he was doing the towers.lol

Wildest thing about heights is how much higher they appear when you’re up there vs when you’re looking up from the ground. The perspective is totally different.
