This ones been in a tree since November..was gettin pretty right..put the whole head in hair on last week..again today and brought it down to this. I will still usually prefer to skin first...but honestly it made no difference to go hair on.

Do Y'all have a size limit in em in ky. Here they have to be at least 10 inches to keep. We caught over 50 and only had 18 keepers last time. Most of the ones we catch are between 9 1/2 and 9 3/4
10” state wide unless the lake chooses different. Where I mostly go there is no size limit. 9-9 1/2 is about it. 11” is a monster

The 18 we kept were all 11 in he's plus. The biggest 2 were right at 13 and some the biggest crappie I have ever caught. If we can catch a break in the rain this week gonna give it another go. Seems they are very scattered around here but if ya get lucky enough to find some they are the best eating you can have. Hope y'all keep getting in em. Tight lines

Actually, there is no statewide minimum size limit on crappie in Kentucky but some individual lakes have a size limit, Kentucky Lake is 10”.
