Helped set up a Christian retreat for next week.
Put out corn and pears for my mom under her stand. Dropped a fresh salt block at my wife’s blind.
Now I’m going to take a bath and go nap in the woods with a bow beside me, been a long week.

So I’m going to add supplemental light to mine. Mine never started but they matured late in the season. They need 14 hours of light to stimulate egg production

Decided that with my sister traveling way upstate at least once a month that she needed to carry along a little protection. So I bought a new pistol. Spent most of the day deciding what she needed and finally just let her decide. She went with this one which I was personally hoping she would pick out of the 3 calibers and 3 brands I had it narrowed down to.

Did another day of hunters ed.. That was fun and I taught wildlife mngt and habitat mngt.

Was looking at a Beretta and a hellcat also in the 9mm. Liked both pretty well was heavily leaning toward the hellcat but preferred the Taurus due to it having a safety. The hellcat makes one with optional safety but guy at RK said as far as they could see could be months to years before they had another in stores or available period.
The other 2 calibers I was considering for her was either a 45 or 380. Glad she wanted the 9 as I honestly felt more comfortable with it. She went inside the store with me and she said as soon as she held it that it just felt right and that's the one she wanted. It was the last she picked up out of 9 and said all the others just did not feel right. I was also glad because it was the lower priced of all I had picked for her to choose from.

Maybe you should put this in the joke thread but this is more appropriate and hopefully it doesn’t get me in trouble.
A mother and her young son went in the backyard to pick some vegetables. The little boy notice two long leg spiders on the ground and ask his mother if she thought it was a mommy and a daddy long leg spiders. The mother replied no son I think they’re both just daddy long legs. Seconds later she turned around to witness the little boy stomping both spiders in the dirt and yelling “we ain’t gonna have no gay shit like that in our garden”
