@drakeshooter I was born in 92 but things when I grew up were so much different than they are now too it seems. I had some of the same teachers in school my parents had. Or some of the same teachers or staff still worked there. Now I hardly know anyone in our school system unless I went to school with them myself.

This guy has made me have a personal vendetta against these bastages. Kilt 16 hens/pullets in one night and left us with 1 rooster 2 hens and 2 pullets. I haven’t hated an animal in a while but I sure do now.

Minks are pleasure killers. I had a coon scale a 8' wall and get in a 4" vent on my henhouse 2 years ago. It took 4 pullets that night, eating one at a time before returning for another. I blocked the vent and caught it the next night.

That's a huge loss you suffered with groceries the way they are now.

Dang ninja coon!

I despise these things now. Nothing like feeding the pullets our broody hens hatched out that was damn close to laying just to have their heads bit off.

Let mom shoot her ML and mine. I just got through cleaning them. Hung them to dry by dehumidifier. I’ll oil them after while.

Dang cleaning rod slipped and hit the brass sight. View attachment 107587
Little salt and it quit bleeding.

That's a new one on me. I've had to superglue stitch before but never heard of salt. What's the salt do, just disinfect?

They used to whip sailors on ships as punishment then they would pour salt water on the wounds to further cause pain. They found out that the cuts didn’t get infected and healed with less scarring.

Sugar has antibacterial properties as well. I don’t mind the burn, it does make it stop bleeding, heal and I get a chuckle listening to my wife hollar at me over it.
