Coal oil is about the only thing needed in the medicine cabinet. From scratches to punctures to worms.

I’d never heard about anybody ingesting it til I read up a little on it, douse a sugar cube lol.

Kerosene is the refined, petroleum version we use today.

My wife has been taking barney's old timey root infusion for decades and it's kept her as sprigh as a spring chicken.

A few years ago the neighbor lady down the road inquired about getting some, but after arduous and lengthy discussion I flat out told her it weren't for sale.

Old salty ham fat is what we used on cuts, a nail in the foot or if we had a thorn stuck in that couldn't be dug out.
Tape a piece if old ham on it and leave it overnight and most usually the thorn was out or slid out easy. With a nail it would take the soreness right out overnight.

Not the worst idea I’ve heard. Last time my daughter needed antibiotics we had to go to 4 pharmacies to fill the prescription.

I suck it up unless I have an honest fear of death. Drink honey lemon tea, eat raw garlic or do water fasting for everything else.

And when that stops ,your whole body falls apart.I told my wife ,if we were a horse ,we’d would’ve been shot or sent to a soap factory already.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Got my last class lined up today. October 27, 2023 will be the final day of classes for the rest of my endorsements in this journey. I started GMDSS august of 2020, then Leadership and Management, ECDIS, Basic and Advanced Meterology, Search and Rescue, then 2 years of study for my big license, now there’s 9 more classes I lack and those will be finished in October. Not counting this time off I’m looking at 10-12 days home over the next 11 months all the rest will either be here at work, on the road to Ft Lauderdale or in school at MPT in Ft Lauderdale. But once it’s done, it’s done. Only have to do 2 refresher classes every 5 years.
