Good looking rifle. I’ve read a lot of good things about those Weatherby/Howa rifles from those that own them.Weatherby Vanguard 30-06 in a B&C Medalist Stock, Leupold VX3 3.5-10, and federal 180 gr softpoints View attachment 94251
Love those Model 7 rifles. Was watching a stainless version in 7mm-08 on gun broker this week. Auction ended today and I was out hunting this evening so I didn’t see the final bid. It was at like $965 last night. I’d have loved to have it. 7mm-08 is a great caliber.Rem model 7 308 with leupold 2x7 vrx ii and 150gr hornady interlock handloads.

Up till a couple years ago that’s what I’d do. But time is precious now and I have to make my opportunities count. I’ve never regretted taking my bow but have had to let big deer walk that would have been chipshots with a gun. I always knew they would walk back into my life at some point in the season but they never did.Do you guys that bow hunt in gun season ever regret it? I’ve thought about doing it but always think what if. Just wondering
