When are you taking off to hunt?

need some advice, my son and I are talking 6 days to bow hunt. It will be a special trip that just me and him will be on.

Would you guys recomond oct 27- nov 2nd or nov 3 - nov 9th? hopkins county

If your going in blind I’d wait till the later date. They will be on their feet for more daylight hours (if weather is equal).

As of now, I’m off all rifle. Thinking heavily about changing it to 11/7-11/11 and first week of rifle

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of that time frame. Good luck!

What’s you decide??

I just realized with my leftover vacation days I just put in for. I’m only working 11 days the entire month of November, Glorious!!!!

I got 2 days before the opener and through Wednesday of that first week.

Looking like I might be off next couple days and then I'm leaving Thursday to head to Kansas and meet up with the boys for some bow hunting. We have cabin rented from the 4th till the 13th. Then back to here to Kentucky

I’m off all next week. I rarely ever hunt with a gun. I looked the other day and the last deer I killed with a gun was 2010 except for my quota hunt buck in 2020

Might as well cancel my vacation then. You and Shaman killed all my plans.

I’m off all next week. I rarely ever hunt with a gun. I looked the other day and the last deer I killed with a gun was 2010 except for my quota hunt buck in 2020

Should be a good week date wise not sure about the weather, ain’t looked. I take off all week the Monday after thanksgiving in Ohio for their gun season. I don’t bow hunt a ton, enjoy the variety of the guns much more.
