My 4 month old British lab. Just picked him up day before this hunt. Wanted to get him out and let him see what all the training this year was for.

I'm missing something here I guess. A four month old shouldn't have had any training other than basic obedience and citizenship and surely shouldn't be on a cold water duck hunt. Did you mean 14 month old???

This is my 4th lab, I’ve trained them all the same way. Everyone has turned into exceptional retrievers. I have people all over the state wanting me to train there labs. You train how you want and don’t worry about my trainning style. My dogs and me are doing just fine! Thanks

My lab has recovered nicely from ACL surgery in October and look forward fo this coming season. She did a little hunting this past year after the surgery. Being just over a year old she was still squirmy like most pups but did great other than the still and quiet part. She has really settled down lately.
