Public ground is a different ballgame. I never make a pass/kill list on public. I just send arrows if my heart thumps.

I had a really old deer that only had 4 points, just a really wide rack. Only saw him once, of course I had already killed a buck. I was walking, trying to kick up a rabbit and was on a rock ledge. He walked right under me and never knew I was there. I watched him make a scrape. I would loved to taken him the next season, but never saw him again. I may have to dig through some old trail cam photos.

I’d shoot him on public land. That’s not a young deer. He may be past his prime.

Like the title says would you shoot this deer? I realize there are bigger ones out there, but I know I’ve never seen a 4 pointer like this

If you are wanting to increase the quality of the deer, yes. I would take him out of the gene pool.

I killed this 6 pointer last year, 21 1/4" inside.

If it was my tag ,no I wouldn’t but if someone else would be happy to take him that’s fine.
